Program Infomation
Our MACC ProgramMaster Program of Arts in Chinese Culture Studies at Xi’an Jiaotong University is designed to help international students from around the world to learn about Chinese culture and society. Enrolled students will develop an adequate understanding of and strong research ability about China today, which will empower them to work in China related positions of cultural exchanges, diplomacy, international trade, management in corporations, and education.
The twelve months program requires a total of 30 credits of course studies and a study paper, a cultural fieldtrip report, or an essay on self-chosen issue. Arrangements will be made for students to engage in various cultural activities as part of internships. These activities include short-period job training at museums, cultural parks, shops, restaurants, schools, churches and temples, and NGOs.

Introduction to Chinese society, introduction to Chinese culture, China in a global perspective, Chinese listening and speaking, Chinese writing skills, Chinese speaking practicum, Chinese history, Chinese literature, Chinese philosophy, business management in China, etc.
